Central Canada Comic Con 2010

Due to some unforseen circumstances, we have had to postpone Shojicon until spring of 2011.

Contributing factors includedrecent notice of bridge construction at St. Matthews and Empress Ave. This will prevent bus service to the location planned for the event. 

We are in need of volunteers to help with this convention so if you are interested in being a part of something great, contact us at info@cccomiccon.com

The Central Canada Comic Con, Western Canada's largest comic book convention, is proud to announce the 2010 Winnipeg Toy & Comic Expo

Where: Viscount Gort Hotel (Portage Ave. by Polo Park)

When: March 21st, 2010

Time: 10am - 5pm

Admission: $4.00 (at the door)

Nearly 100 school libraries across Manitoba were given posters and free youth passes for the Convention.  Libraries recieved a $1 donation for each youth who attended the Convention and wrote their school name on their door prize ticket.  5 students from J.H. Bruns attended the Con, with one of them being drawn as the Grand Prize Winner of an additional $500 donation to their library.  Mr. Randal Payne from the J.H. Bruns library accepted the $505 cheque from C4 volunteer Myles Hildebrand.  Mr. Payne informed the lucky student she'd be able to choose the materials the money would buy for the library.

Well, at the Central Canada Comic Con, our guests are there all weekend long!

Friday: 5pm - 8pm

Saturday / Sunday: 10am - 6pm 

*Please note: they will take some time away from their tables for breaks and onstage Q&A sessions. They will have a sign that will state when they will return. Please see the programming schedule for when your favourite guests will be onstage answering questions.

*Please note, all guests will have professional 8.5 x 11 photos from the television series / movies they were in. When you go to get an autograph, the price they charge includes the signature on the photo of your choice. They may have other collectibles at their table for purchase as well. If you have an item to bring that you would like to get signed, it is at the guest's discretion. All photo ops (as in, you in the photo with the guest) are also at the guest's discretion.
